Hospitalization activities from the point of view of kindergarten management

The bachelor thesis focuses on hospitalization in kindergartens from the management perspective as one of the essential tools for the development of pedagogical staff and improving the quality of kindergartens. It is divided into two main parts-theoretical and empirical. The theoretical part deals with control, dividing it into internal and external, and control as a managerial function. It also focuses on typical control in the school setting, hospitalization. It describes the principles of a properly conducted hospitalization, which should be known by every hospitalizer and the hospitalized, and the different concepts of the subject. The theoretical part also describes the forms of hospitalization that can be carried out in a kindergarten and the methods of further education related to hospitalization. The empirical part presents a research investigation that aimed to find out the form of hospitalization in kindergartens, the use of the results of the hospitalization and the development of teachers through hospitalization activities. School visiting as a form of collegial supporting of teachers AUTHOR

This diploma thesis deals with the possibilities of professional development of primary school teachers. The focus is on different forms of peer support for teachers, with an emphasis on inter-school observation as a natural way of practical development. There is also a collegial support project presented through the innovative program Step by step, which has been already implemented in many schools. The peer support project is presented in the empirical section, involving teachers from different types of schools who participated in inter-school observation visits. The pre-research was conducted through semi-structured interviews gathering information about the course expectations, followed by an experiment that was evaluated and analyzed during the recorded interviews. A dedicated website was also created providing a supporting environment for its users. Kindergarten teachers cooperation restructure for academic lectures

The bachelor thesis Peer observations in kindergarten as a possible method of implementing changes is focused on mutual sitting in on a class that can be an important tool for improving teacher's professional growth. The aim of this work is to map and describe the current form of observations and mutual sitting in on a class in three kindergartens from the point of view of the headmaster and teachers. This bachelor thesis is of theoretical- empirical character. The theoretical part defines solved problems and used terms. It is important for every observer to know this information. It is the only way for the activity to be performed properly and for the observations to become benefits to the kindergartens. There is also expert publications research and valid legislation at the time of submission of work, i.e. June 2018, mentioned in the work. The empirical part includes preparation, implementation and conclusions of the research survey which consist of nine interviews. Three headmasters and six teachers working at common kindergartens were respondents of the research. Research shows their views, experience, opinions, perception and attitudes to the current form of sitting in on a class and mutual observations.
